Bah, you should have gone independent retailers! I went for Chips, my local game shop and picked up E:TW, special forces for a sweet £32.99.

Not sure if my codes worked or not. I put them into steam and it said it was done, however, on properties of Empire: Total War game, there is no DLC tab to see.

Not so much an Australia problem as an EB Games rip off problem. JB-Hifi are selling it for $79/$89 standard/special forces compared to EB's $99/$109.
I bought the special forces edition from JB and it had a card for the USS Constitution with it, so I guess they hadn't sold all their pre-order shipment.
So basically, don't buy new games from EB unless you get them to price match a proper price.
I can't find any of my special units in the custom battles (I have put the codes in), so NFI what the deal is there.

Yeah, my local JB and EB are next door to each other. I always check both stores before buying and I haven't bought a new title from EB for a couple years. They're always $10-20 more.
