Default Special Forces Edition any ideas??

    Hey guy i've already preordered special forces edition from amazon which has the usual units, map and the chart thingy but just now while looking at the screenshot at ign i found a picture of the special forces showing that u also get a wooden box, a compass and a flask, does anyone know if this is included in the amazon package as well or not? if not any idea where i can buy this version? here is the link of the picture;

    http://uk.pc.ign.com/dor/objects/958...page=mediaFull

i also put an attached photo this seems much cooler than the one on amazon though.

That's the Collector's Edition, not Special Forces. Special Forces jut comes with the map and the extra units and that's it. The collectors edition costs considerably more.

I hope it is also the case with the Amazon order, as I would be a very happy bunny. :D

It might be those Steam lovers a bit sick if it is the case, I don't mind the little wait time if I get that sort of an award.

I would realy like to know where I should go to to get the collectors edition in the UK, as the only sites I've seen sell it are gamestop.com (heck no!) and amazon.ca .

    Normal DVD Edition:

    Empire DVD
    Manual

    Special Forces DVD Edition:

    Empire DVD in fancy case
    Manual
    6 special units:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
HMS Victory - The Royal Navy’s most distinguished and formidable first rate ship of the line; Lord Nelson’s 104 gun flagship is one of the most heavily armed ships of the 18th Century.

Rogers’ Rangers - Major Robert Rogers’ company of rangers are highly trained elite light infantry, specialising in reconnaissance and special operations. They are extremely mobile in even the most challenging environments.

Ottoman Organ Gun - A viciously powerful field gun, able to inflict incredible damage on the opposing army. Emphatic proof of the Ottoman Empire’s advanced knowledge of gunpowder and firearms technology.

Ghoorkas - "Better to die than be a coward" has been the motto of these elite Nepalese soldiers for centuries. Disciplined, tough and courageous, they carry a deadly 18-inch long, curved knife known as the kukri.

Corso Terrestre Guerillas - An independent light infantry guerrilla regiment, experienced in skirmish and stealth tactics. Surprise raids and ambushes are the guerillas’ favoured tactics, a way to compensate for their limited number and light armour.

Bulkeley's Regiment - A French unit of Irish mercenaries with a fearsome reputation for hardiness. Exceptionally tough and resilient, they make for a highly flexible and dependable regiment.

    Map

    Empire Toal War Collector's Edition:

A link would be preferable. The EB site collectors edition doesnt say anything about the hipflask, compass or the other "feelies".

Gamestop owns ebgames, by the way.

EB don't ship either, so its an Australia only buy, unless you get someone to buy and send you it.

Damn. Of all countries, Australia? They usually get everything last.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

I'm convinced amazon.ca it wasn't there earlier, Collector's Edition. I must have a hard copy so it might as well be a pretty one. If I lived down under they could have suckered me in for that edition.

Heres hoping that the canadian amazon.ca does overseas shipping... Nope! seems that the canadian Amazon can't lable a product correctly. Its was just a mislabled special forces.

Well, I preordered the game this morning. $10 off as well! So I bought Special Forces, seeing as how it was the same price with that $10 off. I get to collect it on the 5th. Right...EB are always the first as well...oh well. I can handle that for $10 off. ^_^_^_^_^

I have the collector's edition reserved at my local EBGames/Gamestop.

This is the edition with the most extras, correct?
