Excuse me, but I was deliberetly trying to discuss conflicts outside of North America. I hope you forgive me. Please . Besides, while I am not an expert on Canadian history, I am somewhat familiar with the Red River Rebellion. But if I had included it, I would have had to include all the nasty Indian Wars in the American west. And that would have ruined the point.
