Is there any thread where people post a screen shot of how much they have built their empire by? I'm just curious to see how crazy an empire can look XD

There are even whole Stories, how they built their empires, look in the AAR thread ;-)

Many thanks to Hooahguy for this great sig.
Aha! A poor choice of words curses you! You mean the AAR sub-forum!!!

Y'know, I've been thinking we should make something like a "post your own Empire" thread for people to brag about their territorial and family acquisitions. The faction progression thread is a bit too narrow to me. The M2TW forum has a thread like this, and it seems the TWC EB forum also has such thread here, and the thread is very much well and vibrant with life, boasting 14 pages. So what to you say guys?
What about a "Screenshot Thread" instead? So that we can post everything ranging from "Empire screenshots", to battle summaries, or even any other wicked screenshot.
I want to show my Heroic victories!
There's a thread specifically for posting campaign maps, but that's more for discussion of AI expansion (e.g. "unusually, in my campaign, the AI has wiped out AS as Arverni after Ankyra revolted, though they now have no presence in Gaul").
I'm in the same boat, I think: I'd like to show off my empire's progress and talk about its heroes and villains, but I'm not too confident in my ability to write fiction.
"The pathfinding around town squares is twenty different kinds of horrible."—Watchman
That... screenshot makes no sense...

If you want to do it, nothing stops you really. Start a thread, people will jump the bandwagon. There was someone posting in another thread a couple of weeks ago who had conquered the world with Epeirus by 190 BC and with Rome 195 BC. Top that if you can, I cannot. And I find more fun in a more historical-ish progress.
'For months Augustus let hair and beard grow and occasionally banged his head against the walls whilst shouting; "Quinctillius Varus, give me my legions back"' -Sueton, Augustus.
"Deliver us oh God, from the fury of the Norsemen", French prayer, 9th century.

"Hellenic greatness is demonstrated...." ? You're Carthage......they're Phoenician.
Someone didn't double check their modding O:-)
Such an inglorious end for Mother Roma.......AS got its butt wiped again too. Nice to see that there are a good number of regional powers (except for the stupid Casse. I wish the AI was better). That would be a good game to fight in.

Fluvius, just wait till i finish a campaign faster then you in Very Hard/Very Hard to spam the pictures everywhere.
Sorry peeps, I should stop bragging.
Pontos H/H
You guys are right, I use most opportunities to show off my massive empire, I really should stop that nasty habit of posting it on threads, won't happen again
Until I finish my Pontos campaign...
No fair tho because my computer ventilation is broken and shuts itself off when doing EB.

Nothing wrong with bragging, i do it sometimes too.
But Pontos on Hard/Hard is just too easy.
Cant really say that i like Pontic units. What do you usually get with em? I kind of miss Pontus' vanilla bodyguard units. They were so cool.
Suck it down.
From Fluvius Camillus for my Alexander screenshot
Sorry you took it that way, I meant it as a funny comment.
I would post up an empire, but Fraps is being weird on my computer.

Cullhwch, that is really awesome!
Burning and Market, I thougth you grew sick of me by posting them away everywhere, well mankind is not perfect
Market, how big is your empire then? Describe it please.
With Empire coming up + School exams, the new Pontic known world will probably take a while...

Nah i am fine with it. I just feel jealous.Burning and Market, I thougth you grew sick of me by posting them away everywhere, well mankind is not perfect
Not because of what you accomplished, but because of your free time to do it. :p
Haha yea, guess high school is not so lame after all. Seas of spare time, when I graduate I will even get a 15 week vacation A lot of time to play EB, well minus the time working, going out drinking, holidays, other games and spending time with friends...
Still a lot of time, enough to have a "B" faction conquer the world!
Now back to large empires!

I never got the point and trying to go for "WWC" (Whole world Conquering) Ruins the fun and realism for me. Let me guess you use full armies of elites or Horse archers?
Whats unrealistic bout trying to conquer the whole world? So many people have tried to do it. Alexander was perhaps the first one to really make a truly big impact on the world stage, but Genghis Khan tried and did a damn good job too (largest empire ever in the world....admittedly most of it was crappy steppes) and even in modern times Hitler made a good start except that he made way too many strategic errors. I mean, attack the USSR, when you haven't even dealt with others nearer to home...tsk tsk...he must have been using crappy rome AI.
Personally I like those beautiful shots of a single colour. Rome is a good nation but whole world red is not nice, the epiros whole world is such a beautiful green. Keep up the good work. Although, isn't purple the international colour of gay people? Trying to spread the gaylove of Pontus to the whole world hey.... (got nothing against gay people should anyone take an offense at all)
EDIT: Got nothing against Pontus should anyone take any offense at all
