It's the whole world too? Not just a "mini-map" focused on the NA east coast? If so, that's pretty awesome.

And if that's the case, for all we know, in "US mode" turns might count for 1/4 of a year instead of 1/2. If not, it's almost certainly moddable.

Yep it's the whole world (well as much of it as is in the Grand campaign anyway ).
