    Ok so I need to use the create unit cheat for my aar 9 (roleplay purposes) and I've never gotten it to work for me. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me, step by step how to use it? Thank yuou in advance.

    Default AW: need help with create unit cheat

    1. Go to export_descr_units.txt and look up the ingame name of the unit in question.

    2. In your game, open console and type in <create_unit "Antigonos Argeades" "hellenistic infantry hysteroi pezhetairoi" 4,3,2,1>

    This will create 4 units of Hysteroi Pezhetairoi with experience lvl 3 (3 bronze chevrons), armour upgrade 2 (silver) and weapon upgrade 1 (bronze) for the respective character. Instead the character name, you can / must type the name of the settlement as you see it on screen.

    Yes, but take care that this faction has the unit in its roster. You will get a CTD if you start a battle, and they don't have a texture / sprite assigned.

    Ok, another question. If i want want to make a unit available to a faction who cant recruit it, what would i have to do? I really need to do this in order for my aar to continue. Thanks to all.

    What i mean is, would it be possible for me to change something in the data to create a unit for the faction? Im not very savvy when it comes to all of this.

    Oh, and im already doing ALOT of pretending.

    oh and change the "numidia, romans_julii," into "macedon,"

    4. if you want to see the unit cards, go to EB/data/UI/unit_info and /UI/UNITS and copy the relevant TGA files into the target faction's folder


    it takes a while to master but it's easy once you know.

    Wow, thank you much sir! This has helped me immensely! Even though i get a headache looking at it! I have found a loophole in which i don't have to mess the EDU which i feel a bit bad for because u went through a lot of work for me. This is much appreciated. Thank you.

    Go to the export_descr_unit.txt file for that, theres a bit at the start that tells you what each entry means as well.
