Snow is nice, depending on where you live. Here in Vancouver, we apparently don't get enough snow to warrant a lot of snowplows, and whoopdedoo we go overbudget trying to control this year.

And you call yourself a Canadian?!

Heh, unless there is a Scandinavian or a Northern Canadian here, I probably seen the most snow here, being in Russia, or Novgorod to be more precise. It is loads of fun when you are just a kid, but for an adult, it is nothing but an impediment. Pensacola, Florida, with its all-round heat, is much more predictable and pleasing. How is three meters of snow suckaz?!? We built snow-tunnels then, and that had to be the most interesting outdoor activity I have ever tried, along with freshwater fishing.

I remember digging tunnels through all those meters of snow when I was a kid, good fun. But I don't live in the northern parts of Canada, so harsh winters like that only come once every few years. Having a nice warm winter this year.

I live mostly in Vancouver, but I tend to visit Fort Nelson a lot, there, I'm Canadians now. And BC sucks at management anyways.

I'm sorry if my link to the trailer for a very silly movie has given offense; that certainly wasn't my intent. I don't believe that a depiction of arctic zombie Nazis is an attempt to equate Germans with the Third Reich, however, any more than Saving Private Ryan or Valkyrie are saying such a thing. Less, since those are serious movies and this one is unmistakably silly.

If you would like to discuss the portrayal of Germans and Nazism in films, and the implications of it, the place to go is the Backroom. The Frontroom is meant to remain relatively politics-free.
