Default Immigration raid catches 28. New Homeland Security Sec. upset

ICE rounded up 28 suspected illegal immigrants employed at Yamato Engine Specialists. The next day, hundreds of workers showed up and applied for the now vacant jobs.

Good job? Not according to Janet Napolitano:
“She was not happy about it because it’s inconsistent with her position, and the president’s position on these matters,” said the official
These jobs paid from $9-$28/hr. With rising unemployment, I really don't have a problem with deporting people who are here illegally and letting unemployed citizens take these jobs. I think this story knocks down the "illegal immigrants only take jobs Americans don't want" narrative- hundreds showed up the very next day. Nonetheless, I think the new administration is intent on ending these raids.

The Obama administration is demanding answers from local immigration-enforcement agents who raided an engine plant in Bellingham, arrested 28 illegal immigrant workers and began the process to deport them.
