    An update!

I have the game. I'll be playing for a few days, to get a feel for things. Then I'll start writing.

Encyclopaedia Bellum – basically a big list of factions, provinces, units and things of that sort. The sort of guide you can glance at if you want to know what provinces France start with say.

The Art of Statecraft – a campaign map strategy guide, with helpful hints and the like

The Field Marshall’s Guide – battle map strategy guide, with info about formation and tactics

The Captain’s Log (I might change this name) - naval map strategy guide, with info on tactics and similar things.

Thanks for all the offers of help I have recieved! . Once I start the guide I'm sure I can find something for everyone to do. Probably raw data collection, and contributing tips and tricks.

The actual guide itself will probably be written entirely by me, in 18th century style. I'm also going to attempt to make the guide as funny as I can. I'm aiming for entertaining and informative. That means it will probably take quite a while to finish however.
