Default Difference between Special Forces and Pre-Ordering Special Units

    What is Special Forces Edition?
    What are Pre-Order Units?

I am confused with all these information.
    Please enlighten me.

There are three units from three retailers, check here: http://www.totalwar.com/empire/gameinfo/pre_order.php

All of the units are described here:
    http://www.totalwar.com/empire/gamei....php#aanswer_4

The Special Forces Edition has six special units as described.

Each of the first three retailers on the list have an exclusive unit they provide if you order from them.

    Amazon.com: Dahomey Amazons

    Play.com: USS Constitution

    Game: Death’s Head Hussars

That’s it in a nut shell.

So if i want to have ALL the special units, i will have to buy 3 pre-order standard games from 3 retailers and 1 Special Forces edition?

I got a feeling that a compiled edition will all the special units will be introduced some time later.......

You will probably be able to purchase the other units seperately off Steam after the game is released.

Oh no I ordered at Amazon, but I would strongly prefer the Death’s Head Hussars

I would have liked them but sadly Game.co.uk decided to charge more for the game than Amazon or Play.com.

Indeed, why should we have to effectively pay $170 to legally get 9 extra units? STEAM better allow us to download them later at a less exorbitant price.

Without it sounding like sour grapes, this concept is certainly a "marketeers" dream.

Eventually I hope they hand them out free after the initial money is made off those that want them prior to that point in time. Having a full "Order of Battle" is quite important IMO.

That was asked in yesterdays Q & A by pevergreen.

They said it was a possibility down the road, but obviously, not yet.
