a few questions

i am buying it later today at Gamestop, and i have a few questions:
1) can i rename units, like "the Kings 5th"?
2) how do i get my units to fire all at once in a massive volley? i think its by taking off "fire at will" and when the enemy is close you turn it on again. am i right?

this is all the questions i can think of now, more to come.

Yes. There is a box underneath the official name that you can type in whatever.

also, ive heard some rumors of only being able to name the flagships. is that true?

Ther are a large variety of loading screens and quotes. You can name any ship, whatever you like.
