I started a new campaign with hayasdan, and for some reason I can't recruit any faction units is that because you need a reform or something. if you could help thanx.

upgrading barracks will give you some basic ones i believe.
there is a descripancy there for if you capture Mtskheta you'll be able to recruit Armenian spearmen in there straight away unlike Armavir.

Not the best introduction campaign, if this is the first campaign you chose to play with.

The Hayasdan start difficult with economy in peril, and have strong enemies. If you play well they will grow to a more than capable faction, but you have to make it through the start first. Hayasdan is considered one of the three factions who are difficulty level: Nigh-Possible, a challenge for the best EB players.

If you are new to EB try easier factions, if this is not the case, then I wish you good luck!

You can't recruit Hai units because the Royal Kingdom of Hayasdan doesn't exist yet by 272. There only are a few caucasian tribes under the controll of a dinasty of persian nobles.

Here's a guide about Hayasdans two reforms: click

Hayasdan is extremely fun if you're into cavalry, Archers and HAs, they're my second favorite faction (after Pahlava), but they're quiet difficult. Keep it up. (And never forget that nothing the AS can come up with can beat Caucasian Archers defending a stone walled Karkathiokerta.)

The first round of the tournament has started. Who's going to prevail?

Gladius or Sarissa, Scutum or Aspis?

all the information on hayasdan reforms (exept what units they get) is in the FAQ.

Italians do it better! Chi dice donna dice guai. Abbi donna di te minore, se vuoi essere signore. Donne e buoi dei paesi tuoi. Fiume, grondaia e donna parlatora mandano l'uomo di casa fuora.
And my personal favorite: "Non rimuovere il confine antico fissato dai tuoi padri". In english: "Do not remove the anchent border placed by your fathers". It looses something in the translation......

The FAQ and the pdf on the EB site say different things about the reforms. Which one is right?
