    i don't think there a way...

    So you would rather be stuck with a 2bit mornarch for life (constitutional monarchy) than be stuck with a 2bit president (republic) for 8 year

    If you have a republic and the upper class revolts you should get a constitutional monarchy IIRC.

    Probably depends how long he lives.

    Eh, it's kind of tedious trying to get a revolution... Maybe I'll try tommorow to irritate my Republic's upper class, although absolutism->Republic->Const monarchy is a little bit troublesome considering that absolutism->constitutionalism and back is pretty usual, especially in German states.
