This forum is a old buggy! We should buy a big birthday cake for everyone !
A fond thanks to all those who laid down the path for us.
And good to see some veterans returning as well!
Here's to more years of good fortune and good games!

Ja Mata, Tosa.
The poorest man may in his cottage bid defiance to all the forces of the Crown. It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder
I took a good look around the web for him a few weeks back, but I couldn't make contact with him. He might be doing his national service at the moment and not available. If anyone wants to make an effort to find him it would be great to see him again!
Cat , tell Shiro to stop by definitely!
Modern civilization is a vast conspiracy against silence
I thought he went off to do his national service about 5 years ago - it was before I moved to London I think.
i lost contact with both of those guys when i stopped using ICQ

I had not realised that the .org was quite so old!
Excellent to see many of the great oldies showing up
I can only lay claim to being a neophyte MTW wave sign up & a refugee of the .com.
Wolf (Lonewolf?) clan members had flash signatures that played a howling wolf sound back then & it annoyed the heck out of me.
.com moderators refused to see sense that I shouldn't have to turn off my speakers in order to not have to hear that, so I abandoned that forum.
I was lurking here for some time beforehand since there was much more delving into the mechanics of the games etc. & lots of .com threads involved repeated linking to .org threads so it was the obvious place to seek refuge.
For me the .org has thus always been a much appreciated haven of calmness & learning amongst the blaring noise of other Total War websites.

maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...
Wonderful thread. Kukri: great find!
Good to hear from the "old poots," and let us hope they hang around a tad.

really don't think any of you will believe this, but came back completely on a whim. no creepy smiley faces on icq required from Cat.
Don't know where to begin really - loved being a part of this forum back in the day. Haven't really kept up with the total war franchise, but can occasionally be found dusting off some Shogun skills.
Amazing to see so many of the old faces. Cheers to all of you, especially Kurando, who really busted my balls to get involved here.
I'm with Cat on this one - would love to find Anssi.

Shiro! I'm glad whim brought you this way at this time. The Roll Call of the Ancients gets better by the day.
Who else does fate and determination pull towards us?

I'm delighted to see The Org still going strong :-) We had some very good times in the past.
Kurando, Dan, etc - so long /bow
Big Gratz to Tosa for running the fort for so long.

Never argue with an idiot, he will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
Happy 10th Anniversary to the .org.
