    Sorry for my ignorance, buy where would I go about putting the RAR file once I have saved it to my desktop?

    Ok this one is for Necropasha - THANK YOU! He found an excellent drum and fife song by Barry Lyndon called Lilliburlero. I used the source he gave me and fixed it so it would play with no fade outs. So without further ado...

    Heres the Drum and Fife Mod_Lilliburlero Music Pack -> http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NZSRXVB2

    Enjoy!

    @therifleman - you need to open the rar/zip up with Winrar. Unzip it / Unrar it, then look for the installation text file in the folders of the mod you unzip/unrared- it explains what you need to do in order to install the field music. BE WARNED.. Please make a backup of your sounds pack that is going to be modified. That way you can revert back in case you mess something up. Enjoy!

    Your Steamapp folder is a subfolder in Steam which should be in your programs folder. I have WinXP and it is located in my Programs (x86) folder on my C:\ drive.

    Any possiblity of having an all fife mod as well? For instance light infantry don't have drummers but they do have a fife player.

    @Mailman653 - That is a complete possiblilty. I will look into doing a few songs with just the Fife! ;)

    This is a new post for my mod as the other thread was filled with a ton of posts and my links were getting lost and required people to sift through pages of text. Here below are the links to my current mod files. I will be changing some of the songs to reflect the improvement in the sound of the audio and I will let you know which file was updated.

    ***PLEASE MAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR "SOUNDS_MUSIC.PACK" BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!***

    Also these sounds will play for all factions! Until someone can figure out how to make the field music faction specific that is the one limitation for the mod!image

    *You'll need this excellent program -> http://www.twcenter.net/f.../showthread.php?t=234546
