I might need more luck on the "Ides of March" but I also hope to have some time to gather my thoughts for the two great events of History on this day...
“Save us, o Lord, from the arrows of the Magyars.” - A prayer from the 10th century.
I think as long a you aren't Julius Caesar, you should be OK. Are there any other historical figures who have had really bad days on the Ides?

May he raise his shield to repel my enemies and his sword to clear my path of obstruction.
Actually, may he really - I was born close to the Idus Martii (March 16th) and I will have a mission-impossible final attempt before terminal failure (3rd attempt, German uni can suck) at my math exam on monday (which happens to be March 16th also)...
Without The help of Mars I do not see myself passing that exam. Failure means getting expelled from Uni. No more engineering...
MARS!!
I am honoured to have been presented with my first baloons - - by Ibrahim for tactical observations
and with my second balloon by Christopher Burgoyne for physical elaboration on the advantages conferred by the Kontos over the Xyston.

But, for our own part, it was not Greek to us, and the Ides changed everything. As cowards die many times before their end, the valiant never taste death but once. Therefore we cried 'Havoc,' and once more, let slip the dogs of war!

And to mee one of history's really great personalities fell on The Ides of March.
'For months Augustus let hair and beard grow and occasionally banged his head against the walls whilst shouting; "Quinctillius Varus, give me my legions back"' -Sueton, Augustus.
"Deliver us oh God, from the fury of the Norsemen", French prayer, 9th century.

It is no matter, let no image be hung as trophies won. Now we'll all about, fit to drive away the vulgar from the streets, so do you as well, where you perceive them thick. These growing feathers plucked from mighty wings will make us fly no ordinary pitch. Who else would soar above the view of common men and keep us all in servile fearfulness? Rejoice, the Ides of Mars has come.

Welp, I've dropped a knife on my foot today. Dammit.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
- Proud Horseman of the Presence
Why, man, he bestrides the narrow world as a Colossus, and we but petty men walk under his huge legs and peep about to find ourselves dishonor. Men at some point are masters of their fates: The fault, dear friends, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are such underlings.
