    Default patch download

    Is it possible to download the patches on to the hard disc location and keep it for future install?

    No.

    You can, however, simply copy the Empire: Total War folder.

    What steam does is direct the patches straight to etw.

    Another work around may be simply taking the patch.pack and the patch_en.pack files. These contains the patches.

    thanks, when a new patch comes out, dose the empire.exe get patched at the same time or just add patch.pack/ patch_en.pack file?
