    Default does the 'Gold' version of m2tw come prepatched?

    Does the 'gold' version of M2TW come prepatched? I need to know as I plan on starting my campaign.
    Sorry if this is in the wrong forum by the way, if it is could a mod please move it for me?
    Currently playing: The Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles, The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon, Medieval 2: Total war, Civilization IV: Colonization, Fallout 3, Fallout 2, Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Spore, Call of Duty: World at War

    Specs: E4500 @ 2.2GHZ, ASUS P5L 1394-VM, 2.0 GB DDR2 667 G.SKILL RAM, ASUS HD4850 w/DuOrb

    I'm not totally sure about the patch level of the gold edition, but I'm almost sure it is prepatched.

    I have Gold. M2TW is already 1.03 if that's the latest version. Kingdoms needs a patch.

    Oh thank God. I might just even by Medieval II Gold just for the sake of not having to install those horrid patches again.
