Remember Pontos's old bodyguards? they were truly awful, kinda like a heavy skirmishing cavalry that would die against anthing it fought.
didn't know you could download the old versions, downloading 0.72 right now.

It's tadpole!
In Dutch they're also called "kikkervisjes" => Frogfishes :)
I love the smell of bronze in the morning!
Campaigns completed: Vanilla Seleucid, EB 1.2. Carthaginian, RSII Pergamon
Not at all. The Corinthian hoplites have been reskinned, given a wider recruitment range and renamed classical hoplites. They also lost the phalanx ability.
No. There is still some unit space left.
Many German units were reconcepted (renamed, reskinned, restatted) because the new German FC was not satisfied with them. The Merjoz was the most notable casualty: two-handed axes apparently were a late Viking/Saxon development, so they really did not belong in EB.

Its a shame that they take out these good looking units...(damn i love 2 handed axes)
Sometimes a (fantasy unit)isn't that bad
Isn't there a way to get them back?..(with very small letters...axeunits)

Notice the awful head and the woody limbs of the last version.![]()

My Greek Nobles:
from satalexton, his name is Plato
from satalexton, his name is Sōkrátēs
from satalexton, his nam is Aristotélēs
I think you mean the one on the right side (never played Romans long enough to get them)? He is a great progress over the one on the left. For me the limbs and head are ok. And I would accept the woodiest limbs and most awful heads if they had no longer the wrong helmet and feminalia from the old left guy.
Playing the Lusotannan campaign I miss the super heavy ubar elite dosidataskeli a little bit. But the decision of the EB team to remove them was ok.

(perhaps from an English Traditional, about 1700 AD)
Drum, Kinder, seid lustig und allesamt bereit:
Auf, Ansbach-Dragoner! Auf, Ansbach-Bayreuth!
(later chorus -containing a wrong regimental name for the Bayreuth-Dragoner (DR Nr. 5) - of the "Hohenfriedberger Marsch", reminiscense of a battle in 1745 AD, to the music perhaps of an earlier cuirassier march)
