Big Problem

Ok i'm not exactly sure if this goes in modding questions but i couldn't see any better place to post it. Here's the story i had modded my copy of vanilla rome to include an extra unit only to find that unfortunately it disabled my ability to play online. (I had only ever modded copied games before). So i removed any mention of the modifying from my game and it still said the incompatibility stuff. Anyways i decided to reinstall and afterwards when i started up rome i got this message.

Error filename cannot be found : this was followed by a large amount of random characters that i can't copy down i tryed uninstall and reinstall again and it still didn't work with the same message what should i do?

1 way of removing RTW completely from your system is registry editor, this wipes off any traces of RTW from your system so it is possible to re-install.

go into regedit (type reg edit in run) then find the corresponding bit and delete the files

It means find the RTW directory and delete it so it wipes it completely off your system.
