Its one of the older shows that history channel made. Actually quite accurate, though they didn't use EB for it.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

I remember this series. I think it's pretty good, informative, and using the RTW game engine they manage to give an idea of what the battles were like. The experts seem relatively well informed. I'm sure some of the other people more knowledgable than me on the forums can spot some problems with it, but I enjoyed the decisive battles.

I was addicted to that show!!! To me it was the most realistic not exaggerated show on history channel(unlike that new show battles B.C. so like 300 ugh!!).

EDIT: Even though 300 had cool effects.

Kampf um Germanien (Battle for Germania) Only in German, sorry. It's the first of too parts, though the actual battle will be shown in the second part next week.

    EDIT:
Here you can see some video footage from the second part.

I watched it today on ZDF. Quite nice, but the roman armies are not very accurate. All marching in Lorica Segmentata, carrying onagers and ballistae en masse with each and every army, like in "Gladiator". But I don't want to have a narrow mind, I found it quite fascinating and will watch the second part of it.

"Kampf um Germanien" is indeed very well made. If you complain about the shown lorica segmentata, better compare it to "Battles B.C."

Even with the uncorrect equipment,i was very anoyed that i missed the show...
Looks MUCH better than Craples BC.

In the past ZDF had some really nice history shows(the only thing you could watch on that channel),of course not all of them where historically correct, but the overall production is quiet good

Seeing Hellenistic powers being defeated by Rome just CRUSHES my heart actually turned the video off after hearing about the gap in between the two Macedonian flanks... I don't even wanna know what happened then :( ... I'll just play EB as Macedonians and then invade Italy and not have to worry:)
Moreover, I advise that Syracusans must be added to EB (insp. by Cato the Elder )

Is looking forward to the 2090's, when EB 20.0 will be released - spanning the entire Eurasian continent and having no Eleutheroi - with a faction for every independent state instead. Look out for the Gedrosians, the Cretans and the kingdom of Kallatis!

What about that show Warriors on the History Channel? I watched it once on Vikings, and I'm not sure if I liked it or was completely irritated by the complete idiocy of the host.
