    Default FRAPS and ETW

I just downloaded Fraps, and want to get some good screenshots of my next ETW campaign as Sweden. I've got a good rig, so I play on ultra quality.

I do have a couple questions though. What's the difference between BMP, JPG, PNG, and TGA? Also, any tips on getting good screenshots? I guess there's obvious stuff like get rid of the hud, which I don't know how to do. I also found out about the insert button today for upclose action, so that'll be cool.

Also, what's the best free image hosting site online so that I can share my screenies with the online community?

jpg is the most compressed format generally, the others are bigger and when you want to upload them, usually too big, offer more quality when you need it but you won't need it just to post some screenshots.

And I disagree about imageshack, use photobucket.com.

If you're using the free version of FRAPS, you're limited to BMP files anyway. They're good because there's little quality lost, but on the other hand, the files can be pretty big. You can open the BMP files in almost any photo editor and convert them to smaller JPG files to share online though.
