I decided on using FTP instead. I have set up IIS and stuff yet I'm stuck at setting password phase again. How please ?

You mean the Windows login ?I think any valid username/password combo for the host machine should be able to login to the FTP service
Oh well, bypassing that part, another issue pops up.
This FTP is supposed to serve other PCs on the same LAN. So do I need FTP port to be forwarded to the server's IP?

Generally, devices on the same LAN should be able to access other devices on the same network without impediment. What exactly is the issue at this point, are the clients not able to access the server?
Exactly. The login window pops up as you type the ftp address; you enter the login info yet you get returned to that window again without any other consequence. What exactly is the issue at this point, are the clients not able to access the server?
