Thread: Good Evening.

  1. #1

    Default Good Evening.

Today I saw a land that I once loved reduced to rubble. From the rubble I saw flames emerge, from the flames I saw black smoke, and in the black smoke I saw the face of Satan. He laughed at me, and amidst the roar of the flames I heard a voice say; “You did this to yourself “. Today I wept.

True, I leave you to your own devices for a few months and I expect change, perhaps not all of it positive. But this? I can blame nobody but myself for allowing this to happen, but it still breaks my heart to see it! I return and the Tavern that I so often used to frequent is nowhere to be seen! I see beggars crawling amidst the filth in pursuit of donations for bandwidth! What happened to the charitable nature of man? Is this once majestic place to become a haven for carpetbaggers and fiends?

Only time will tell, but until that judgement day I promise to do all in my power to prevent such horrors. I trust I find you otherwise in good spirit.

    Forever your loyal servant,

    James M.

    Well then.

    Good morning, Good morning,
We've danced the whole night through
Good morning, Good morning, to you

    Good morning, Good morning,
It's great to stay up late
Good morning, Good morning, to you

When the band began to play
    The stars were shining bright
Now the milkman's on his way
It's too late to say goodnight

    So good morning, good morning,
    Sunbeams will soon smile through
Good morning, Good morning, to you

When the band began to play
    The stars were shining bright
Now the milkman's on his way
It's too late to say goodnight

    So good morning,
    Sunbeams will soon smile through
Good morning, Good morning, to you
    Good morning,
    good morning,
It's too late to say goodnight
    So say good morning

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

We had to move because having friendly chatter with fellow EBers is against the rules.

Also someone needs to 'shop a Top hat and monocles onto a Roman legionnaire to represent us clearly superior EB Taverners.

Jnabb22, my first language is English. Please consider this next time you decide to litter my thread. As for you A Very Super Market, your comedy is banal, drab and frankly unfunny. If you must try and amuse me, please try harder.

I assure you that I shall be joining you for what passes as an intellectual conversation in the Tavern at some point. When? Who can say? Until that day comes I shall be roaming these forums with my ever watchful eyes, waiting.

    Your humble servant,

    James M.

I don't understand why this is in the EB forum. If I offended you, don't take it personally. Always in before the lock.

I don't really understand the point of this thread, what do you mean by good evening and, well frankly your entire post makes no sense.
I in no way am triyng to offend you.

Italians do it better! Chi dice donna dice guai. Abbi donna di te minore, se vuoi essere signore. Donne e buoi dei paesi tuoi. Fiume, grondaia e donna parlatora mandano l'uomo di casa fuora.
And my personal favorite: "Non rimuovere il confine antico fissato dai tuoi padri". In english: "Do not remove the anchent border placed by your fathers". It looses something in the translation......

That's exactly why it was closed. Good call.

I am beginning to understand the part about "Spam and run" in the official tavern memorial poem...

I am honoured to have been presented with my first baloons - - by Ibrahim for tactical observations
and with my second balloon by Christopher Burgoyne for physical elaboration on the advantages conferred by the Kontos over the Xyston.

Do not spam a thread just because you think it is going to be locked. Spamming spam just makes it worse and pointing out that something is spam is itself spam.
