Quintus Aemilius Regillus walked through the pillars of the vast new building. He inspected scrutinousmy the quality of the fresco's on either side of the walls.
He walked deeper into in temple, his clients waiting outside and not even attended by a single servant.
It was still early morning, and as much as he tried, he did not discover any living being.
Luckely it was in his nature to prepare for all possibilities, so he snatched a scroll out of the folds of his toga, and left it on the curule table in the back of the temple.
He walked out, back straight, in the direct of the Forum, followed by his steadily grwoing band of clients.
