    Default Question about Trading Posts:

Do you earn more if you have more ships on each trading post? Do Indiamen, Brigs and Sloops earn the same?

Yes you earn more, but it doesn't double with each ship, each new ship gives less of an increase than the previous. Only Indiamen, Fluyts and Galleons can be used on a trading spot and you don't get any more income for using a certain type of ship.

Only trade ships can generate money. They have the coin with "1" in the middle of it, on their unit card.

You will get more for each trade ship, but the profit starts to decrease at three. There is another thread about that, I'll try and find it.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?
You can sift through the penny jar

Are you all sure? I had 1 trade ship on a trade post, checked the trade revenue coming from it, then added a 2nd trade ship to the stack, and there was no change in the revenue. This was in the Ivory Coast.

There is a little bug you need to be aware of (among many...).

If you are going to add trade ships to a fleet on a node, remove the fleet from the node, add the ship, then move the fleet back to the node.

Also, never, ever, remove a ship/ group of ships from a fleet on a node. The remaining ships on the trade node will go kaput. They will show on the screen, but they don't generate income, you can't move them, you can't do anything but click on them... Another one of those bugs...

You have to move the stack off the trading spot first. The trade route income isn't properly updated when you just add the ship to the stack.
Due to the ailing economy, this space has been foreclosed.

The first bug isn't actually that serious, when you just put another ship on to the node it doesn't automatically update your income but when you hit end turn it does and your trade will go up. Probably safer to do as anweRU says, just to be on the safe side. The second bug is an annoying one though.

If you put an army on a ship and move the ship to next to the trade node and unload the army, a priest, a gentleman and a rake onto the trade node you get a special movie where a bunch of people are drowning. This only works if you are playing Germany, though.

Very important detail -- thanks for pointing this out!
