Get fraps.

Or go old-school with: Print Screen, alt+tab, win+R, type "mspaint", ctrl+V, ctrl+S.

Then imageshack.us or whatever.

Printscreeen button (right of f12)

Screenshots are put in your Creative Assembly -> Europa Barbarorum/RTW -> TGAS

They are .tga so you need Ifranview or paint.net to open them.

Fraps doesn't work for me and Alt-tabbing is too much a pain in the heat of battle so I have to do it the Original way. By just spamming print-screen :P

I recommend the oldscool way, like delra said. It's slower but you can copy your pics into paint and save them with a proper name, like 1KoinonHellenonVsMakedonia215BC, so you find them at once if you look for certain pics. (especially important if you write an AAR and have several hundred pictures to manage ^^)

Has anyone mentioned Fraps? Free, printscreen service. Works very well with all games; you can even designate the screenshots to immediately appear in a screenshot folder wherever you wish that to be located.

Yes, you can. They are normal jpg or bmp graphics files after all.

FYI if you play RTW by using "Run as" fraps won't work.

Just pressing the "print-Screen" button saves images fine anyways, no need for a 3rd party program. (except to convert them into JPG)

Not for all of us.

If I take pictures using print-screen they turn out black and can't even be opened by most programs. And that's a quite common problem.

Certainly is. FRAPS also works fine with me and many other people.

I use PhotoBucket to upload any screenshots, and they also have a pretty decent editing selection for a free site. Check it out.

Does 'check it out' sound very American?

You need to turn off AA in the graphics menu, for some reason it messes up screenshots.

I read that as well, but it doesn't work for me either.

Tolg,

if you have an nvidia card check with the setup screen on your desktop that your have got 'application controlled' ticked for the AA otherwise turning it off in the game wont actually do anything...

cheers,

Pobs

Anti Aliasing.

I don't think I have an nvidia card btw. Radeon if I recall correctly.

I could research AA as I don't know much about it, but in regards to EB specifically, what does it really do? This is off the topic I suppose. Quite curious though. Didn't know it hinders screenshots!

Essentailly it makes the game prettier by smoothing out jagged lines. See here for more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-aliasing

No idea why it causes the screenshot bug though.
