How to ignore user?

Morning folks,

Just wondering, how do you add someone to an ignore list on this forum? Is it possible?

It used to be simply clicking on the user's name and adding them to the ignore list, or doing it through their information page.

But I can't find the option anymore

I have a person on my list, and it still works...

Try going to UserCP then under Settings and Options there is an option to
'Edit Ignore List' which has an 'Add Member to your List' option

earlier system sounds easier..

On the Profile page, just under the Member title, and above the Visitor Messages window, there's a User Lists option.

Add to Friends List
Add to Contacts
Add to Ignore List
Add IRONxMortlock to Favorites

Wait, so what does ignoring achieve? Does that mean you do not receive any PMs, VMs, and friend requests from that person? Is there anything else?

A further query:

Does the ignored party receive a message telling them that they have been blocked or ignored?

You can't see posts made by that user.

Whenever you see their posts, cover your eyes, thumb your prayer beads and rest your face in your hands, while at the same time scrolling far far away with your mouse. That's what I do, anyway.
