    Question Re: Liquid Chicken!

Interesting video... Chicken has vitamins and minerals?? That's news. Usually everything that tastes well to the masses is utterly devoid of any vitamins and minerals.

As usual, parody cannot keep up with reality. I present you with three real products that are more deranged and foul than "liquid chicken":

Huh? I believe the comment supposed to be witty and humorous, and I have seen some of your quips and puns, which were marvellous, but this one leaves me lost. Can anyone explain this one?

Chicken is one of the better meats, but fish still trumps it in nutrients. I've never found that meat tastes like much, actually. I think it may be that vegetables and fruit have stronger taste than meat, which is largely tasteless for me.

For terribad retail foods, I nominate Frozen Chicken Fried Bacon (I swear, I saw that somewhere), and any popsicle.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

Hehe, I love that Star Trek reference: And the use of a demotivational poster where words might have been much more blunt.

But sorry to say, Gregoshi, that was not one of your best. Pick up at your local brothel does not make sense, even if it contains the word "broth", which does not have to be out of/with chicken either, unless specified. I believe it is better to make few splendid jokes than mostly stale ones with some good ones mixed in .

On the other hand, my utter inability to interpret anything but historical and political humour may hint towards the fact that I missed out on yet another part of Gregoshi's seemingly abortive pun.

Aemilius, my jokes/puns don't come with a freshness label when I think them up. Some of my best & cleverest bits that cracked me up have seemingly passed unnoticed by the readers. So, had I opted to post just those few "splendid" jokes, they would have been failures in my mind as I can't see the reaction of the reader. My goal is to put a smile on your face - or a facepalm at the very least. If I'm doing just the opposite, please accept my apology.

As for your criticism of my brothel pun, is this better? It is still lacking the liquid chicken to brothel connection apart from the word "broth" (without getting naughty), but it does strengthen the "chicken broth" tie-in (as opposed to beef broth, etc) and adds a layer of sophistication to the brothel reference via indirection.

    Cool Re: Liquid Chicken!

Don't worr, Gregoshi, you are still the greatest ;) I have read enough old Backroom and Frontroom threads to know that much. As for what you thought were "greatest" jokes, I believe it was because of your very elegance and sharpness of wit. That is normal for a pun. The better it is, the less noticeable it is.
