anubis88 18:34 03-30-2009
Wow... I must say i was amazed when i saw them... When the hell did they got changed?!? i know it's not much of a change, but damn, they look really special now... Does anyone have a picture of them? my computer can't handle the highest grafic unit quality so i don't really seem them in all their awesomness...

Also did any other unit change without having had their unit cards changed?:O I really want to know.. i noticed some carthaginian and lusotannan units had their horses a bit coloured, which makes them even cooler

Actually the early pontic bodyguard calvary isn't a specific body guard calvary unit, I know the Seleukids can use them as a normal unit.

But yes, they are very sexy.

/me makes out with his bodyguard.

Actually he probably means the Late Pontic bodyguard which is triggered by the vanilla Marian reforms.

Saka, Baktria, Pahlava, Hay bodyguards change too.
KH gets phalanxes and Mak's get reformed phalanxes.
Romani get 2 ships extra.

Yes, well... seeing two people misinterpreted your question already it could also be that your question doesn't really make it clear what you do or do not know...

I should start a war against Pontos in my campaign then and see for myself.

They look friggin' awesome. Quite understandable why the Romans crapped their pants when confronted with Mithridates' cavalry.
I kinda feel like starting a Pontic campaign right now.

These new ones really lokk better then the earlier ones. But I haven't even played Pontos till now so I might not even have noticed it.

So do I. But my Saka campaign is going well enough to distract me. But I might try Pontos sometime..
