march 30 hot-'fix': just new bugs?

Before the last patch I had about 30 hours of CTD free game play with ETW (lucky system I guess). Now: I crash every other turn... Especially when trying to unload units from a fleet or load them onto a fleet...

Something is going on with fleets in harbors (+ some units) combination after this latest patch. Whenever I click on a harbor that has a fleet/units in it: I can sense the strategy map 'freezing' for a moment as if the system is trying hard to solve something. At times, the usual 'pop-up' with the harbor contents would come up; at other times - the game would just crash. This was not true before the last patch (there was no freezing).

There's a March 30th Hotfix?

My Steam just says March 26th was the last one...

Actually that hotfix was a lucky one for me. It fixed all end naval battle CTD, sped up shipyard toggle.
Fixed graphic artifacts in movies and message pop-up and generally made the game run more smoothly.

Try describe your problem(s) in detail in the bug thread. It will help them identify the problem and then apply the correct fix.

I had to drop an old save game (pre-hotfix) with France because whenever i clicked on Port-Royal to select a fleet it CTD the game. Hotfix don't fix save game, once corrupted a save game can hardly get fixed.

I've taken the opportunity to start a new game with tEh UKz. I can now enjoy an naval focussed campaign without fear of CTD or save game corruption (so far ).

I'm having the same issues where my game crashes when I try to click on a port with ships in it for troop transport. I guess i need to start a new game.

thats funny....i had the exact opposite experience. before, every 2 battles i would get a CTD and naval battles would crash no matter what. since the udate, i havent had a single CTD. it does freeze for a second when clicking on harbors i think, but i am also running it on a 2.0ghz rather than the minimum 2.4ghz processor. i guess im one of the lucky ones
