Only the Metis and other mixed-bloods can grow beards. I'm 18 and all I can get are a few whiskers (even though my dad's Metis ). My cousin was able to get that scarce mustache and partial-goatee that is popular amongst Hispanic gangsters, but then again, he's a bit mixed, too.
