Last night, after hoodlums burned down part of my store, I went to the ballot box and tried to kill off GH. Of course, I still had my other ballot in there, so mine didn't count.

I have ruled that the original votes should count, and the illegal votes should be rejected, as I established by precedent last round. If I alter this now, it will be unfair to all players. Furthermore, I announced earlier this round that I had a new method of deciding tied votes, as the vote currently stands, it is tied 7-7, rejecting illegal votes, which I should do.

Unvotes before a new vote were not helpful at all. Though I still think a plain old unvote should be made if you just want to remove your vote, there's no need for a full unvote then vote.

Trust me... I've been put in very awkward referee-ing situations at least twice this game. I want the vote tallies to be FAIR to all. If I let you die last round due to a failure to unvote, and I change that policy unannounced, especially AFTER I said UNVOTE before you vote again, specifically... I'd be a bad host. I apologize to everyone if this ruling doesn't sit well with anyone... I'm doing the best I can, and I left it up to Shinseikhaan as I promised to do when he died, for tied votes. Ultimately the responsibility is mine to make the call, and I have ruled.


I hope LG can forgive me.

Always annoying getting lynched on the weekend when I miss it... though I guess at least this time there is nothing i could have done about it even if i had been here to change a vote... so not to much harm i guess...
