Default Why can't I build Latifundia in Italy?

I am in 163 and am just waiting on the latifundia to go to Marian reforms, but they are not offered. I can build them in Greece, but not Italy. What gives?

Grant of Land -> Agricultural Estates -> Latifundia

Hmm, odd. You need the "Grant of Land" and "Colonial Farming" buildings before you can build the "Agricultural Estates" building. Once you have those, you need a "Small Market" to finally build the "Latifvndia". Make sure your Italic cities have those buildings. Other than that, I do not know.

EDIT: Ooops, gotta be faster next time.

To get any building requirements, put the browser over the building- it will enumerate all necessary precursor buildings.

In your particular case you are missing this building

farms+2, I don't remember the in game description but its the farm that costs 7200 mnai and takes 12 turns to build.

Since the AI already built them in greece so you can build Latifundia there.

Ps. pardon the uncouthnness of my reply, am suffering from a severe case of flu.
In the three years of war, necessity gave birth to invention. During those three years, we built bombs, we built rockets, we designed and built our own delivery systems. For three years, blockaded without hope of imports, we maintained engines, machines, and technical equipment. We spoke to the world through a telecommunications system engineered by local ingenuity. In three years of freedom, we had broken the technological barrier. In three years, we became the most civilized, the most technologically advanced black people on earth."

Latifundia is not in the same building tree as the vanilla one. Vanilla latifundia was the best farming building, here it represents the highest level of land-owning (Grant of Land - Estates- Large Estates)
