moving saves

how can i move saves from one computer to another? i know in previous games they were in a folder and i could copy and paste them to my flash drive, but i cannot locate it now. where exactly can i find the save games to move to my other computer?

If you have Vista: For Vista: C:\Users\[name]\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembley\Empire\save_games\

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[name]\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\save_games

Note that these folders are probably hidden.

i tried those. all my E:TW stuff is in steam. whats the address for the savegames there?

They are there. Just change the properties of your folders so they show when hidden and you will find your saves.

No, all saves are supposed to be in the folders MA described. None in steamapps, which is where the game files are located.

so how do i make it so i can view hidden files?

and i am moving it from an XP to a vista. will this go fine?

XP Configuration screen ==> map options ==> second tap (don't know what it is called in English since I have Dutch Windows) ==> chack: show hidden map and files.

Vista Don't know.

You'll need a big flashdrive or make several trips depending on how many saves you have. I think the average size of a save file is 50MB.

i only need to move 2 saves, and i have a 2gb flashdrive. thats nothing for me, i moved over a file with: RTW patch 1.3, patch 1.5, EB 1.0. EB 1.1, EB 1.2, the phalanx mod for EB, and the RS textures for EB in 1 go. 2 saves is nothing for me
