    do you mean how do you change names say like a roman general?
    as in from a triumphus.

    ex.) you have a marcus orestes scipio or something of the sort.
    and he kills macedonians like a mad man and is named marcus macedonicus?

    other then that im not sure what you could mean.

    Yeah, you can change 'em in-game. Just play around with the names files. However, changing a Julius to a Scipio will affect all Julius's, living and dead.

    The only way to actually edit a single character is through the use of a hex editor.

    for example i want to change antiochos syriakos to antiochos soter , theodoros syriakos to antiochos theos , kallinikos syriakos to seleukos kallinikos

    Not worth your trouble mate. Those titles weren't names anyway, so you can just roleplay he was given the title.

    To change names like that of the Roman triumphs, you need to write new traits. Writing traits is not easy if you've never done it before and adding new traits is not save-game compatible.

    Damn. Was hoping something like this would be easier to do - was going to ask if it'd be possible to give epithets or titles to Hellenic generals provided certain conditions were met
