this girl moved in accross the street from me and is my age. i want to ask her out but i dont know her very well. at my age asking if she can come out and play will sound kinda weird, so how can i spend some time with her and get to ask her out?

but i need a way to talk o her first. most of the day she is just in her house or at a different school. after that i can handle it. i just have to find a way to talk to her that doesnt involve me directly going to her door and hoping she answers.

were in a small part of town, theres just 2 schools by us and i dont go to either of them. no shops, just the little neighborhood and the road. then after you leave the neighborhood and drive for like half a minute theres a strip mall and a sonic, but then nothing else is within walking or even biking distance.

EDIT: thanks for the explanation, Strike... But no, at 13 and 14, the womenfolk are generally not that inclined to engage in the fun stuff in a relationship. All you get is tongue(if you're lucky) and extreme amounts of nagging, whining, complaining, bitching, mood swings, etc. Bah, better leave it till they turn older and looser... And even then, I'm hesitant to say it's worth it. Right now, I'm actually quite confident that there's nothing in the world good enough to justify the bitching and the mood swings. I know several gay monks... well most of them are now ex monks. I wouldn't say they had it easy. Imagine having to keep a relationship secret in that closed of a society.

I definitely agree about the age thing...

Although I must admit I had my first girlfriend at around 12 or 13. We met a 4-H camp. You have no idea what it's like to work at identifying inferior traits in livestock one minute, and then fall into puppy love the next.

1. She talked about planes. At a bar. While drinking. PLANES?!?!??!?!??!?!??! WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT PLANES?!?!?!??! WHO THE HELL TALKS ABOUT PLANES AT A BAR?!?!?!?

I mean, I talk a lot. And I do mean a lot. But I do notice when I'm annoying everyone else, and at that point I choose to shut up and let someone else do the talking. This specimen did not have that most important of abilities. I tried every trick in the book to show that I wasn't interested in the conversation(couldn't be rude, that would ruin my chances with the other one), but she just wouldn't shut up.

2. She wasn't good looking. And the other one made a certain someone something stir in my lower regions.

It's a youth program, usually focused on agriculture.


My older brother was in it, so I got dragged along, like everything else.

But, it did prove a good way to "explore nature, " and it did help me start my first business: a rabbit farm, where my brother and I raised, bred, and then slaughter the animals for market. It was nice, until a pack of wild dogs broke into the pin area one night, and killed most of our stock. I was pretty gruesome. I didn't want anymore rabbits after that.
