    Default spam links on msn

I don't know where this belongs to but ill post it here.

Couple people on my msn list have been spamming me with random links which I suspect to be virus links (3 of them) and I have a slight suspecions that I'm infected as well after accidentally opening the links. Would it be fixed if I run a virus/ spywear search or should I do something else?

    Cheers

how long have these people been on your list? do you know who they are?

i would suggest downloading malwarebytes anti-malware, it is an incredibly effective tool for killing viruses and what not.

Yea I know all of them who are sending me spam links. I guess they are infected and they don't know that they are sending them to peoples.

Its just that when they are offline, they keep on sending me wierd links, telling me to "CLICK IT!!" which I try not to ofcause.. But once I tried to check what it is out of curiosity by copy and pasting it on google search bar, which somehow opened up the link...

I do have a decent anti virus soft called k7 which seems to do the work. Well, it doesn't keep inform me when they get the virus unless I do a full search.

Well if your antivirus is any good you should be able to right click on the link and scan it...

I use avg free and I have only once had a virus which was my fault anyway(looking at dirty websites ) and malewarebytes(also free) took care of that.

Just get Kaspersky Antivirus. The best in the world, I guarantee. Just Google it and look at its reviews it always places either first or second, in just about EVERY competition, magazine, website, etc.

Get a thirty-day trial of it which is free, and for 30 days you will clean out your computer. Then you can get another trial

    Free trials ey?? Like Winrar?

Well until my laptop goes completely crazy (Which I expect them to be in about few months... I want a new one anyway.. ) I'll stick with the one I got right now.

Guess the only option is to tell the person that they are sending wierd links.
