That's what happens to most detectives

TinCow once posted the perfect detective role pm in Scourge of Ephesus :

    During the night, you detect.

During the day, you have to avoid getting lynched by the stupid townies. You won't, though, because they're stupid. If you're lucky, you'll manage to detect a mafioso and reveal it to the town. Too bad for you they won't believe you and they'll lynch you anyway, making sure to never lynch the mafioso you revealed to them. Stupid jerks.

When all mafiosi and other bad guys are lynched or killed, you get to be vindicated and say "I told you so."

    Good luck (you'll need it)

Yes, I also suggest that you make the first so and so many turns at least two days long because with so many participants the thread will be very, very big, a lot to read and coming to a somewhat sensible lynch conclusion can be hard in one day. You might want to keep the nights short though since there is usually less discussion and everybody just waits for the results. Just my two cents.
