Im not sure I buy sasaki's case on our honourable friend, he was just trying to establish information which isn't paticularly scummy, i suppose he could have got a pro ton role revealed but that didn't seem his intention at all to me...

Hmmm Ninjas got 2 kills N1 and the traitors got 1 kill it seems (samurai would not resort to cowardly tactics).

Considering there's 4 ninjas and 2 traitors, the question then is whether they have other powers too or whether they alternate night kills (group 1 kills odd, group 2 kills even)?

The ninja kills point to new players or someone just killing new players for the heck of it - or maybe because they know them.

The traitor kill points to an established mafia player.

You got me. I'm mafia if I don't do that. How did you know? Oh wait, I was mafia in the Fight for Inishmore and I did do that, several times. I must have changed my strategy... now if I'm mafia I won't offer to be lynched. But, knowing that you'll probably figure me cunning enough to change my strategy, I might keep it the same, and so therefore I must be innocent if I haven't offered myself for the chopping block. However, if I say so out loud, then it's wine in front of me, and that means I should be lynched anyway just to make sure. But then again, since I've said that, I'm likely a samurai, and therefore would be a bad lynch. But then again, I'm cunning enough where I could say that, and still be a ninja, and so therefore I must be guilty. You see, I can't compete with you physically, and you're no match for my brains. In the morning, Yoshi-san moves through the crowd. He is upset as one of his closest allies, a noble samurai which he joined the protection forces with, was killed in the night by assassins.

As he walked down the street, he sees a suspicious person lurkiing behind a box. This is going to be a face to remember.

A few hours later, he walks into a sake bar, to see that face again. Yoshi-san heard his name being mentioned with a loud whisper by some greazy-looking samurai. It was that face from earlier. The slimey samurai looks up and licks his lips towards Yoshi-san with his fork-like tongue.

Yoshi-san walks out of the sake bar, picking up his equipment and donning his straw hat."That man is either a fool or working with the assassins, though he is most likely both."

Yes, mafia definitely manufacture excuses about why other people are scummy to make themselves look clean.

...they will pretty much just lurk in the background while all the townies accuse each-other or make people suspect another person.

Though, you seem to be chasing after me for no real reason, it just means you are trying to get an innocent out the way and any suspicions away from yourself. Might as well paint a Mafia role mark on yourself and say "Lynch me!"

I was fooling around, it is impossible to sush out roles before the game has even started. However, with you trying to jump the gun at me and it pointed a big bulleye's head on you being a Mafia role trying to take advantage of me fooling around when everyone was perfectly safe.

The manner of which Ii Naomasa (Khazaar) died is familiar to me. Or, perhaps it may just be coincidence, but in the movie Flowers of Flesh and Blood, a samurai kidnaps a woman, sedates her (which the state she goes in is similar to being drunk), and cuts off her legs and arms, and finally decapitates her. Sick film, which was accused of being a snuff film, later to be found out that it was fake. Just my thoughts.

For now I Vote: The Spartan until more evidence arrives.
