Well he was on topic so I don't think you can call it a spam.

No need for sorry Moros, not at all. Glad it works again for you. I guess it was a temporary parser/browser hiccup.

When posting is there an icon for 'spoiler' or do you just have to remember what the code is?

There is another fat B (the second one) which is for spoilers.

In regards to spoilers not working, there used to be an issue back then with you having to reload the page after editing spoilers in.

    O'rly? Let us see.

EDIT: Hmmm, looks like you are right. I have heard other people say the same, but I could have sworn I have seen my post count go up the last time I posted here.

Personally, I prefer the [ex] tag, since it does the same job without the colored background, the frame and the italics. Much cleaner.

But I suppose you untidy people with no sense of typography or aesthetics may continue to use the [spoil] tag, if you must. Sigh. I'll be sipping mimosas in the solarium, pondering the fate of the lower classes whilst I don my ascot and smoking jacket.

does the [ex] tag have a button? Seems to me it is more useful than the spoiler, and should replace the spoiler itself or at least be a button I can press.

Let me guess: there's a button and I haven't found it yet.

    Hello,

The spoiler was made for the Gameroom (can be used anywhere of course) and includes the warning as it can give clues away.

The ex was added later, especially for the Backroom, to initially hide very long pieces of text.

I don't think I made a button for ex.. no I haven't. Haven't really done so for spoil either.
