Looks like Crimsonland but with online bits and some zomie-esque critters.
I'm surprised there aren't more zombie based MMO games with zombie themes. Imagine teams of players trying to control areas of abandoned towns, having to find and use limited resources of weapons against a growing number of undead. And then rival player factions could turn on one another to steal each other's bases and weapon caches. Be fantastic. I'm bored with the idea that just about every MMO game needs to have bearded dwarves.

Hmm, just gave it a go. Seems you die a lot or back-track whilst knifing a thousand zombies. Join a server where there are players and they make so much noise that within seconds you're surrounded and dead. Very hard to get anywhere in this. Seems unless you buy a few bits and pieces with real money to get you started, it's a bit of a tricky journey. I've died about 6 times so far. Annoyingly you have to keep rejoining servers everytime you go to search your inventory and what not. It interrupts the flow of play a bit.
It's alright but lacks a bit of polish. Might be more fun playing with people you know. Still it's held my interest for the past couple of hours.

I'd recomend doing single player for a bit, wayyyyy easier and you keep the stuff from single player and multiplayer
It's a pretty neat little mix
And dieing, well lets just say i've died waaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy more than 6 times. I think in the first 20 minutes i died atleast 12 times
after you do a few loot runs on single player you could either have a crud load of cash or some decent weapons to help you along your merry way.(hint go for finding axes, three hit kills most times)

I can never find any weapons when looting. Just loads of useless strip things that doctors can use but I can't. But I made enough money to buy myself a fire axe. It works a treat. I then went off looting, this time avoiding as many enemies as possible and traveling about 20 screens before turning back on myself. I found tons of ammo to sell and plenty of rotten cabbages and what not. I joined some unofficial Mall site that displays what people are selling. This is a fantastic way to buy and sell items in the game without having to find someone else in the game world. Brilliant. With about $2000 I got myself a FiveSeven pistol to use up my .32 ammo that I can't sell, a Bowie knife so I can sing 'We could be Heroes' as I'm killing zombies, and a shotgun for kicks. Just need some armour and some more food and plasters and I'm ready to kick some zombie butt!
It's definitely easier looting offline. Less zombies and you don't have idiots blasting away and waking up all the undead. It is a bit of a chore though trying to go deep into the streets to find better loot, then having to travel way way back to safety again to sell everything..... well unless you suicide yourself. I think with a bit more spit and polish it could be a quite fun game. As it is, it's enjoyable in a way, but a little too repetitive. That said I'll definitely keep playing it for a bit.

Goto the meeting hall in town. and goto sevices. Find a medic 5$ is average while a cook for rotten cabbage is about 9$ on average

Just an update and I have to admit, this game is quite addictive when you get into it. I'm level 21 already. I was going down the melee route of charging in with axes and chainsaws, but have since decided to go for rifles. The game is very repetitive but still fun at times. The way the leveling system basically forces you to go further into the city to find loot and supplies that will be useful to you (as lower level meds and foods no longer work) is a pretty cool mechanic. You require more money for the basic things - especially food and ammo, so you need to go into the really dodgy areas where the zombies are red and dangerous and run like Carl Lewis on steroids.
When the game is finished and the player run Outposts are implementing, this will be a fun game/diversion, especially if it stays free.

I got hooked on this, spend a lot of money on it too! Only thing was, I started putting more into the game than in my own social life and my girlfriend, as MMO games tend to demand a lot of time. And at the end of the day, although it has lots of potential, it's still very basic and in my opinion is ruined by some bad gameplay balancing and a bunch of fervently loyal supporters who are rude and up their own bum hole when it comes to seeing any form of criticism come the game's way.
I became a gold member on the first day the GM opened, but I barely played since. Lost all interest really. A lot more needs to be added to make it really stand out. I'm just gutted I wasted so much time and money on it.
