    Default Faction-Specific Technologies?

Hi folks, as I was playing as the Ottamans (and inevitably being crushed from 3 sides) I noticed the Ottamans get a special tech "European Doctrine," which gives them some European style units. I also (very vaguely) recall Britain having an extra rifle tech. So i'm curious-are there any more faction specific techs, and what do they do (and can somebody check that British tech for me)?

On a side note, the Ottaman European units are called 'Nizam-Cedit III' or something-who/what is this named after?

Austrians get the Airguns technology which enables recruitment for their wind-riflemen. Hungary's basically an Austrian clone in terms of their unit roster, so they probably get that technology, too.

Great Britain gets the Screw Breech or whatever it's called, which enables recruitment for their Ferguson rifles. I'm assuming the Scots, Irish, and the 13 Colonies (not the US) get that technology, too, as they get Fergusons in their unit roster, as well.

The Fergusons and windrifles are, if you didn't already know, insanely good light infantry. I think the techs give prestige, as well.

What do the poles get? I haven't had the opportunity to compare tech-trees.

I have seen that those techs show up as tradable also.

Though I do wonder if they will make the units buildable for others.

They should be Nizam-i Cedit, no III, which means New Order. They were the New Order army, as opposed to the old order army of the Sultan's own Kapikulu army (included cavalry, artillery & infantry, the last are the Janissary), the Timariot Sipahi cavalry, and various levies.

I don't think they get special tech, but they have kickass superhero cavalry. I'm serious : each one of those horsemen is Batman
Anything wrong ? Blame it on me. I'm the French.

The Brits should be the only nation to get the case (shrapnel) shot as even at the end of the napoleonic war not even the french knew how to make it.

I have seen a mysterious technology - GB, UP, Sweden and Spain has it - in my campaign with Genoa.
Is this the "Screw Breech" tech mentioned by Megas Methuselah?!

Don't think so, I have that tech to trade as Prussia, and Prussia does not have screw breech in their tree. I thought it was a harmless bug and ignored it (since it looked like a bug, I was also afraid to click on it for fear of CTD lol).

I think I've heard something about this being a submarine tech which didn;t make it in the game but still seems tradable. But that's just a thing I've heard on the forums, but it seems plausible.

I saw the submarine tech once during trade negotiations with Britain- seemed like something that hadn't been properly developed, a bug, or a bizarre Easter egg. Either way, I didn't touch it.

That icon is for the air rifle tech the Austrians have. The screw breech look different.

The odd thing is, that the austrians didn't developed this tech so far in my game; but as I said, UK, UP, Spain and Swedes have it
