Anyone figured out how/where they can actually be built yet?

I found one as British in the Sinai peninsula. It's part of Palestine.

I wonder if it is tied to the event "European China".

Are those events tied to anything in game terms? I just thought they were random history spam (not that i'm deprecating "history" bulletins -they just get repetitive on numerous playthroughs).

I can confirm that the only ceramics factory i've seen so far is the one Mr the Marquis has mentioned, in Palestine.

There's a nifty thing about them though : you don't get the same news with all the factions. For example, the Western powers start the game with a blurb about the Gregorian calendar, while the Ottomans get a newsflash about the last lion dying around Tripoli.

The messages do seem to be overwhelmingly based on what was happening in Britain though -even when playing as other western factions e.g. France or UP.
