    Question Question regarding outlaw status

My Julii faction was declared outlaws by the SPOR when my faction leader did not commit suicide. I arranged a ceasefire with the Brutii and Scipii that turn. Both factions have attacked me after the ceasefire while remaining neutral. The SPOR faction has been defeated. I hold Rome which is under seige by the Scipii. Should I declare war on the other Roman factions and attack them? There appears to be no way to get them to be friendly now.

You're absolutely right, attack with all your might!

    We salute you, Imperator.

P.S. Seriously, civil war at that stage is inevitable, the game is set like this, eventually you must go to war with your former Roman allies, crush them.

As Quintus has said, attack with every single military unit you can muster. The Romans won't rest until they have wiped you out completely.

Crush them like beetles underneath your heels Bangui. Fighting the other Roman factions in the civil war is the high point of any Roman campaign. They are your greatest challenge after all.

I was able to gain victory in this campaigne. I thought I had to wipe out the other Rome factions, but taking 50 provinces after taking out the SPOR was enough.

that's always the goal for every faction, take Rome and hold 50 provinces, for the long campaign.

as Parthia I went on and took the whole of Europe, laughing at the Romans trapped in Italy, surrounded by stacks of horse archers, shooting at legionnaires on sight. and when I finally decided the blot of purple, red and blue (bruttii died because all their family members were in greece when I invaded) was too unsightly, a few thousand horse archers marched down Italy. and I was surprised that I suddenly got the 'victory' screen upon capturing Rome.

My download of EB is coming along well, I think it should have more realistic victory conditions other than just holding Rome. (it does right? I haven't played it before, and from the posts in the EB forum, I could guess that it does)
