    Default Mods Compatibility

Well I have only played this mod of RTW since the first open beta, because I think it is the best. But now I would like to have a quick look on other different mods, can I install other mods without affect the current EB installation (I have a current campaing that I want to continue at the same time)? and play with the same rome installation both?.

I am concerned it can be a problem since it is always recommended a clean installation, so this can be a stupid question.

It depends on the mod you want to try: is it fully self-contained or does it spill over into base RTW installation? If the former it should be OK (given that it doesn't want to install to a folder called `eb'), if the latter it may cause problems (elements of that mod popping up as `artefacts' in EB for instance).

Ah Ok, I think it is the self contained class, it is installed in his own folder, as EB does. Also in their web they said you can play vanilla or the mod with the same installation. So I think I wont have any problems.

But I was wondering since It is always recommended a new and clean installation to play EB or other mods...

Well I see the new mod have his own folder but change a short number of files in the RTW (grass and clouds). So probably there wont be problems but I would have different clouds and so when I play EB. I dont like this. The mod make a back up of those files, may be I can just restore them after install it and I can have EB as before (but the mod without his privative clouds, for me this isnt a matter :D).

What do you think, can this be a solution?.
