I humbly suggest myself to represent the Iowan branch of honorary Texans.

You do know that the fossils of the first humans found in Africa were in fact, planted there by Texans in order to confuse scientists.

I would apply, but I suspect that my love of genuine North Carolina chopped BBQ would disqualify me.

    I'll stick with Montana.

Its like Texas, except with colder weather, higher mountains, Terrible Barbecue, Less People, and Way More Nukes.

Wisconsin's working out fine for me. You may have the attitude, but we have the cheese. How you gonna make your Tejas-style nachos without cheese, hmmmmm? Face it, we've got you by the short and curlies.

I am a member of the EB Tavern social group above all other titles.
In all these papers we see a love of honest work, an aversion to shams, a caution in the enunciation of conclusions, a distrust of rash generalizations and speculations based on uncertain premises. He was never anxious to add one more guess on doubtful matters in the hope of hitting the truth, or what might pass as such for a time, but was always ready to take infinite pains in the most careful testing of every theory. With these qualities was united a modesty which forbade the pushing of his own claims and desired no reputation except the unsought tribute of competent judges.

We talk normally, thank you very much!

However, our barbies are much better, and so are our wimminz.

As an Australian book I once read said: "We shoot, we root, we vote. We are girt by sea and pissed by lunchtime. We are the best at all the sports that matter: cricket, rugby, afl and union. We can beat anyone in anything and still win two-up."

    Or something like that.

Maybe we should be making you honourary Australians.

Beer, barbeques, wimmin - none of that matters for Texanity.

What you need is huge geographical size, an Ego to surpass even that, and an unapologetic conviction that you are God's gift to mankind. Those, and an utter pig-headed refusal to face facts to the contrary.
