Personally, it was fun for me.

My favourite reaction. It's the first reaction I've seen in my class (wow, I was 7th grade then; more than 7 years ago). From this moment on, I started loving chemistry. There is much logic and you have to get rid of the prejudice.

2Na + 2HOH = 2NaOH + H2

Dangerous and spectacular. I have not done anything connected with chemistry for almost 4 years. I hope I have not done any mistakes.

Ah, the Alkaline metals. I got to watch a potassium + water reaction in class. That was awsome. In fact, most demos and labs in chemistry are awsome. Molecular biology is a pretty interesting topic too.

edit: And Thermite! How could I forget thermite!
