not impossible. I've had units gain experience for nothing too. All that happened was they took a couple of casualties and i noticed they had a chev on the campaign screen.

Then they probably lost some of the inexperienced men. From what I know the experience shown on the unit card is the average experience of all men in the unit.Originally Posted by Celtic_Punk

yes this is true. you'll notice if you merge two units a bunch you can get back to the original experience values.
