Thread: v 1.2 CTD, Romans

    Default v 1.2 CTD, Romans

    Hello all

I have this nasty little CTD with Romans. The necessary info:

    - Version 1.2, 205 BC
    - Yes, I have enabled the script each and every time I loaded the game.
    - The game consistently crashes during the turn of Sauromatae and/or Epyrrus. It goes too fast to be able to figure which one of them it is. Epyrrus has no rebelling cities, Sauromatae have one which is close to rebelling (approx. modern day Azerbaijan), but not in riots yet (they start next turn). I put it at 400 population and the CTD is still here. I tried doing some other stuff as well (moving characters), but I wasn't able to get the name right or something, I wasn't able to move a character there. I never used any of the cheats before, so I'm not sure what's wrong here :) I've tried loading and reloading and so on well over 10 times now, and it is the same every time.
There is one Makedonian city having riots, putting it's population to 400 didn't work.
I have one city with civil disorder, but even if I fix that through cheating, the CTD happens in the same manner. The city does not rebel away in any event (~60% loyalty). Fixing both cities at the same time didn't do anything either.
    - Yes, I do have all permanent fixes.
    - I don't have any other mods or minimods at all installed.
    - The game does not crash if I don't run the EB script. However, if I run it for 1 turn without the script, and enable the script on the following turn, it crashes during that turn.
    - Canceling all my construction and recruitment didn't work.

That's all there is to try in the FAQ, I think ... unless there is a rebelling city which I missed or something ... that's possible, I guess, but I'm reasonably sure that's not the case.
I hope someone will be able to help me, because I've grown to like this campaign :)

    The save should be here:

(nice file service, by the way)

    HA!

Uninstall and reinstall fixed the problem..

I hope someone will benefit from this :)

3 years (12 turns) later, I get the same problem. This time no city is about to rebel, and reinstall didn't do the trick. I suspect the problem was the same as the last time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Could you post the savegame for the last one? I'm not sure if I get the time to run your game anytime soon, but I'd like to have the opportunity if I do. As it's consistent and doesn't happen without the script, I should be able to narrow it down to find where in the script it happens.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

So now I was going to test this, but found out the file had been removed, presumably because it's over a month since it was uploaded. If you happen to have it still, I'd like to have it (and I'll download it immediately this time).
